to my surprise i have recently discovered (i woke up

this morning, after a long snackful nap, to this realization) that 

i am a hamster! in the hamster wheel of dreaming! and

it is a pink one, this wheel, bedazzled with dollar store gem

stickers – mostly to hide the droppings that collect at the bottom

rattling under my paws as i make my way to the top!

the top of what? it is pink! in my past life i was a WWII pilot

i believe (this is a theory actually – some dreams to corroborate) 

and that is why i think i aim so high, this little hamster with a huge

appetite, more than the average ham, and i run very fast,

i believe i am getting closer every day, to the michael's glitter-dumped

sky-blue elmer's glued colored paper heavens where i'm meant to be, reunited

with my passion - flying planes
