Bingo Brown and the Language of Love...
To tell you the truth, it wasn't the usual slightly challenging book that I've read. It wasn't hard... It was just a bit easy. About only 3.75 inches thick (height, when you're laying it down on the table flat), and the font size just a teeny bit bigger than this font. It was meant for my brother at first, but he had admitted after a few pages that every page had at least five long sophisticated words in which he could not possibly decode. So I read it. To me, there was not one word that was "unknown," so I wondered what words he had stumbled upon.
Anyway, it wasn't the type of book I would really like. I like fiction with a little twist. Or fantasy, as long as it doesn't include too much fantasy. I like fiction that is close to real life, and close, meaning, not too un-related.

It was almost like a love story, but not one of those really serious love stories like Romeo and Juliet.

In the story, Bingo likes a girl named Melissa, who moved into the town of Bixby, Oklahoma, which is very far from where Bingo lives. Melissa, to what I read, likes Bingo, too. But Melissa's friend, Cici, who still lives in Bingo's area, likes Bingo. Billy Wentworth, another kid from Bingo's school, likes Cici, and bugs Bingo and keeps taking interest in Cici, thinking she has interest in him back.

The story goes how Bingo, every day, makes a list of "Trials" and "Triumphs" of the day. He always ends up with an abundance on the "Trials" list and none on the "Triumphs" list.

And,  he seems to be falling out of love with Melissa, as Cici keeps following Bingo. To make it that much worse, Bingo's mother suddenly becomes pregnant, and his mother "runs away" to Grammy's.
His dream of surviving and going through the "mainstream of life" seems to be far away.

And...
well, to tell you the truth, I'm 6 books away from this book... So, I'll just end this entry a bit short and maybe unfinished...
In the end,
ohhhhhh.....
You'll see...
You'll see.. I'm not going to include it this time...
(partly because I forgot... partly)
